Snow Polo World Cup St. Moritz 2026
Issue Q1 – 2026
St. Moritz has long been a place where exclusivity, tradition, and alpine elegance come together in a unique way. But once a year, the Engadin becomes the stage for an event that goes far beyond sport: the Snow Polo World Cup. In 2026, the tournament once again transformed the frozen lake of St. Moritz into a meeting point for the international luxury and lifestyle world.
Because snow polo is not just a sporting highlight, but a social event where winter presents itself in its most glamorous form.
What makes this weekend so special is the blend of top-class sport and an unparalleled atmosphere. Guests from all over the world travel to St. Moritz to be part of this event—a place where the international elite gathers, new connections are formed, and there is something to discover at every corner.
The backdrop of the Engadin mountains gives the tournament its very own magic: snow-covered peaks, crisp winter air, and a panorama that could hardly be more impressive.

Six teams on the frozen lake
The 41st edition of the tournament also brought an exceptional sporting lineup to St. Moritz. A total of six international teams competed against each other on the frozen Lake St. Moritz—with experienced players, new talents, and world-renowned polo stars, making this weekend one of the most prestigious snow polo events in the world.
The tournament is considered the only high-goal snow polo event worldwide and attracts an audience each year that appreciates both top-level sport and exclusivity. For 2026, more than 25,000 guests were once again expected—a clear sign of the growing importance of this event in the international winter calendar.
Designer looks, Hermès pieces, and a luxurious lifestyle

But snow polo in St. Moritz is not just about sport—it is also about style. Around the field, the grandstand becomes a runway: luxurious designer looks, tailored winter couture, and iconic accessories define the scene.
Particularly striking this year were the exclusive Hermès bags in limited designs—including rare collector’s pieces such as the coveted Panda Edition. Fashion is not simply worn here, but celebrated.
Champagne, sunshine, and the perfect winter weekend
The weather also showed its best side in 2026. Bright sunshine bathed the snowy landscape in an almost magical light and turned the weekend into an experience full of lightness and elegance.
Champagne glasses clinked, guests enjoyed the atmosphere, posed for photos, and celebrated the winter lifestyle for which St. Moritz is known worldwide.
