Koryphäe Olive oil – Mediterranean cultural heritage
Levels of Luxury No. 1:
Issue Q1 – 2026
What is taken for granted in Greek-Mediterranean culture is unfortunately often a blended product in Germany. Olive oil is comparatively undervalued in German supermarkets. The shelves are filled with products from different harvest years, regions, and olive varieties—or even blends of various oils. Transparency and personal connection are given little importance.
This is exactly what Koryphäe aims to change. The olive oil pursues the goal of being closer to the customer—tangible, transparent, approachable, and authentic.
About the Brand
The family business, now in its third generation, cultivates the Koroneiki olive on its own estate, harvests it, and transfers it just a few meters further for pressing. In the same region, not only the olive oils are produced, but also high-quality complementary products related to the olive—such as pastes or spices. Particular emphasis is placed on purity, quality, vintage authenticity, and natural clarification instead of filtration. This is convincing not only in terms of taste, but also through high vitamin content, valuable nutrients, and transparent interaction with customers.
Koryphäe is no longer a single-product brand, but part of an entire world of taste. However, the focus is never lost. The olive leaf sailboat on the bottle symbolizes the journey of flavor—from the olive to the table, across the fields of Greece, straight to enjoyment.

The liquid gold
A special highlight of this harvest is Koryphäe’s ULTRA extra virgin olive oil, cold-pressed. This oil is not made from ripe olives, but from green ones, making it exceptionally aromatic. A significantly larger quantity of olives is required to produce the same amount of oil. After pressing, the oil is bottled immediately and delivered directly to Germany without detours.
From the harvest and transport to special moments such as pop-ups and tastings held in central and southern Germany, the brand pursues the goal of making Mediterranean cuisine tangible. This is reflected not only in the taste, but above all in the personal encounters that arise along the way.
“The name Koryphäe stands for the summit—for something or someone who is outstanding in their field. That is exactly our aspiration: to position the product as an absolute quality standard in the market and to show how versatile olive oil can be. It is a true wonder product that not only impresses in terms of taste, but also offers health and beauty benefits. Hair and nails in particular benefit. We are able to fully preserve the vitamins and nutrients and bring Mediterranean flavor to the German market.” , says Managing Director Georgia Pantazi.
The pop-ups and tastings, organized together with selected Galeria and Edeka stores, go far beyond a classic food presentation. They are content, experience, and community engagement at the same time—an approach that is consistently continued on social media as well.

A product that not only accompanies everyday life, but consciously elevates it.
